GALLERY VAL Launches with Art Party 001

GALLERY VAL is officially opening its doors—and we’re kicking things off with the first in an ongoing event series dedicated to celebrating art, craft, and creative community. Tucked away in Nashville's Berry Hill neighborhood, our 9,000 sq. ft. private artist village is stepping into the light with Art Party 001.

Founded by Brian Bartley, the creative mind behind Studio Sabal—a high-end lighting design studio specializing in residential and commercial spaces—GALLERY VAL was born from a vision to build more than a gallery. It’s a living, collaborative space where artists, designers, and fabricators come together to experiment, showcase, and inspire.

With the unveiling of GALLERY TWO, our underground photo/video studio and private exhibition room, we’re welcoming guests inside to experience what we’ve been quietly creating.

What’s Happening at Art Party 001

✨ Live Painting by JAK
Mixed media artist JAK will paint live and debut her latest collection of abstract and mixed media works—emotionally charged pieces rooted in texture, color, and movement.

🔥 Hands-On Glass Blowing with Pontos Design Studios
Step into the fire with Blaine Steiner and Sam Spees of Pontos Design Studios. Watch glass come alive during live demos, and try your hand at shaping molten material. Their sculptural glassworks and custom lighting will also be on display.

📸 Unveiling of GALLERY TWO
Our new underground photo/video studio and private viewing space opens for the first time. Designed for artists and makers, it’s a raw, versatile room built to inspire experimentation and showcase work in an intimate setting.
